“Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:”
John 11:25 (KJV)
Reflection
Death usually feels like a permanent wall, the one thing no human can bargain with or beat. But when Jesus stood in front of a grieving friend, He didn't offer a philosophical theory or a distant hope. He identified Himself as the source of life itself. He wasn't just saying He could perform a miracle; He was claiming that because He is God in the flesh, His life is stronger than the grave. This means physical death isn't the end for anyone who trusts Him. God’s love is so expansive that He poured out His life to break death's power for the entire world. He offers this eternal life to absolutely everyone, holding the door open for you to step through. You have the freedom to decide if Jesus is who He says He is. He is ready to welcome you right now.
