Reflection

Love isn’t a human invention; it is a response. Most of us spend our lives trying to prove we are worthy of affection or searching for someone who won't let us down. But this verse points to the source of everything good. God didn’t wait for you to get your act together or start looking for Him before He decided to care about you. He took the initiative. He loved you before you were even born, and He proved it by sending Jesus to give His life for every person on earth. Because God moved first, you aren't under pressure to earn His favor. You are simply invited to receive it. He offers His heart to everyone freely, leaving the choice entirely in your hands. You have the freedom to turn toward that love or walk away from it. Jesus is standing there with an open door, ready to welcome anyone who decides to step through. I hope you’ll take a moment today to consider what it means to be truly loved by Him.
