It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

Lamentations 3:22-23 (KJV)

Reflection

Life can feel like a relentless cycle of mistakes and heavy consequences. It is easy to assume that if God exists, He must be exhausted by our failures or ready to give up on us. But these words capture a staggering truth about God’s character: He is not fueled by anger, but by a mercy that literally keeps us alive. His compassion isn’t a limited resource that runs out when we have a bad day. Instead, He resets the clock every single morning, offering a fresh start rooted in His unshakable faithfulness rather than our performance. God’s love is a universal constant, reaching out to every person without exception. He doesn't hold your past against you or ration His kindness. No matter how far you feel you’ve drifted, His invitation to start over is real and waiting for your response. Jesus proved this by giving His life for everyone, breaking the power of our mistakes so we can walk in freedom. I invite you to turn toward Him today and experience the relief of a mercy that never fails.
