“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”
John 15:13 (KJV)
Reflection
Love is usually measured by how much we are willing to give up. We might offer our time or money for someone we care about, but Jesus set the ultimate standard by giving His very life. This wasn’t just a tragic accident or a symbolic gesture; it was a deliberate choice. He took the weight of our wrongs upon Himself and died to bridge the gap between us and God. The most incredible part is that He didn’t just do this for people who already loved Him. He did it for everyone, including those who were still ignoring Him. His sacrifice is a massive, open-hearted invitation to every single person on earth. You are not forced to follow Him, but you are wanted by Him. Jesus gave everything so that you could know the Creator personally. He is ready to be your friend and Savior if you will let Him. All you have to do is turn toward Him and accept this gift.
