“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;”
Colossians 3:23 (KJV)
Reflection
Most of us spend our lives performing for an audience. We work to impress the boss, please our families, or win the approval of strangers online. It is an exhausting way to live because people are fickle and their standards constantly shift. This verse offers a better way: living for an audience of One. God is not a demanding taskmaster looking to exploit you; He is a loving Creator who notices every small, honest effort. When you realize that Jesus Christ died and rose again for you, your daily grind transforms into a meaningful conversation with Him. You no longer have to perform to earn love; you work because you are already loved. You are free to give your best to everything you do because God sees you and values you. He is ready to welcome you today.
