For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Romans 3:23 (KJV)

Reflection

To be human is to carry a deep, internal ache—a sense that we are not quite who we were meant to be. We are like a masterpiece that has been weathered and torn, or a mirror that is cracked and clouded. This verse isn't a legal indictment or a way to make you feel guilty; it is a diagnosis of a universal illness. We were created to shine with the very light and beauty of God, to live in a radiant union with Him that fills every part of our being. Instead, we have all wandered away from that source of life, losing our way and falling into the shadows of death and brokenness. But this diagnosis is given only so that the healing can begin. Christ became one of us to mend what was broken and to restore the glory we lost. He has conquered the darkness that holds us back, offering a way to be made whole again. He is reaching out to you right now. Come, let Him heal you and lead you back into the light.
