“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:”
Matthew 7:7 (KJV)
Reflection
We are often told that the spiritual life is a hidden, unreachable mystery, but these words reveal a God who is standing just on the other side of a door, waiting for a signal. Life in this world can feel like wandering in the dark, yet the Creator has not hidden himself to be elusive. He has hidden himself like a treasure, waiting to be discovered by anyone who truly wants to find him. Seeking is not a mental exercise; it is the movement of a heart that recognizes it was made for something more than just survival. When you reach out, you are not shouting into a void. You are speaking to the One who conquered death to be near you. He respects your freedom, so he waits for your invitation to begin the work of healing and restoration. The door is not locked from the inside. Turning toward the Light is the first step of a journey that leads to becoming who you were truly meant to be. Seek him today; he is ready to be found.
