“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:”
Philippians 2:5-7 (KJV)
Reflection
True greatness is not found in grasping for power, but in the humility of God. Though Christ is the eternal Creator, equal in every way to the Father, He did not cling to His heavenly majesty. Instead, He emptied Himself to enter our broken condition. He did not arrive as a distant tyrant, but as a servant, sharing in our flesh, our hunger, and our mortality. By becoming like us, He opened a way for us to become like Him. He took on our human nature to heal it from within, proving that the way to life is through the surrender of the ego. This is the mindset we are called to adopt: to stop defending our own status and instead find life in self-giving love. Turn toward Him today; His humility is the door to your healing.
