Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

1 Peter 2:24 (KJV)

Reflection

Jesus did not come to satisfy a distant anger, but to perform a rescue. He climbed the wood of the cross to take the sickness of our self-destruction into his own living body. By carrying our brokenness to the grave and breaking out the other side, he didn't just offer an idea; he provided a cure. This is about being healed from the inside out, not just being told we are forgiven. He entered death to destroy it, turning the instruments of torture into the tools of our restoration. Now, the way is open for you to leave behind everything that decays and step into a life that never ends. You were made for this wholeness. Turn toward him today and let his life begin to mend your own.
