Reflection

Life is not a commodity we possess or a duration of time; it is a Person. God has not handed us a set of rules or a distant promise, but his own life through his Son. By entering our broken existence and shattering the power of death from the inside, Jesus Christ opened a way for us to share in the very nature of God. This is the healing of the human soul. We were made to be filled with his light, and that light is found only in him. To have the Son is to begin living a life that death cannot touch, a process of becoming like him that starts here and now. Step out of the shadows and let his life begin its work in you today. Christ is waiting to make you whole.
