But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 5:8 (KJV)

Reflection

We often imagine we must fix ourselves before God will take us back, as if we need to scrub away the grime of our mistakes to be worthy of his gaze. But the reality is the opposite. God did not wait for us to improve; he stepped into our mess while we were still lost and broken. By becoming human and entering into death itself, Christ met us at our lowest point to pull us out. His death was not a payment to an angry deity, but a rescue mission of pure love. He entered the grave to break its power from the inside, ensuring that no depth of human suffering or failure is beyond his reach. He offers you a way out of the darkness and a share in his own life. Come and let his love heal you.
