“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)
Reflection
True strength is not something we possess by nature; it is a gift we receive by remaining in the presence of the One who made us. Left to ourselves, we inevitably burn out because we are trying to live on a finite supply of energy in a world that exhausts the soul. But God is an inexhaustible spring. To wait on Him is not a passive delay, but a steady leaning into His life. As we unite our will to His, His own divine energy begins to flow through us, healing our exhaustion and lifting us above the heavy gravity of despair. This is how the soul recovers its wings. You were not meant to survive on your own power. Turn toward Christ today; let His life become your strength.
