“The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.”
Psalms 23:1 (KJV)
Reflection
We often spend our lives driven by a sense of lack, chasing things we hope will finally make us feel complete. But this ancient song points to a different reality. To say the Lord is your shepherd is to recognize that you are not an orphan in a cold universe. You were created by a God who knows your name and desires to guide you into the fullness of life. Christ is this Shepherd, the one who entered death to lead us out of it. When we follow Him, the frantic hunger for more begins to quiet. We find that we lack nothing, not because we have everything we want, but because we are becoming whole in Him. He is the source of all healing and the path to becoming truly human. Turn toward Him today; He is already walking beside you.
