“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

Matthew 11:28 (KJV New Testament)

Reflection

In the Resurrection of Christ, death is trampled down by death, shattering the chains that bind us. When the Lord calls those who labor and are heavy laden, He invites us not into a legal contract, but into a life-giving communion. We are burdened by the sickness of sin, yet He offers the medicine of immortality. Salvation is the healing of our fractured nature, a journey of theosis where we become by grace what He is by nature. This transformation requires our free cooperation; we must choose to place our hand in His. As the Fathers teach, God will not save us without us. By uniting our will to His divine love, our weariness is transfigured into eternal rest. The Light of Tabor awaits every seeking heart. Turn toward Christ and find your peace.
