“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.”

Philippians 4:6-7 (KJV New Testament)

Reflection

St. Paul invites us into the stillness of the Risen Christ, who has trampled down death to restore our communion with the Father. Anxiety is often the fever of a soul fragmented by fear, but grace acts as a divine medicine, knitting us back together. As the Fathers teach, salvation is the lifelong healing of our nature, a process of theosis where we freely cooperate with God’s energy. By bringing every care to Him with thanksgiving, we open our hearts to the Holy Spirit’s transformative work. This is not a legal transaction but a homecoming. In this synergy of prayer, the peace of God—which preserved the martyrs and enlightened the Saints—becomes a fortress for our minds. Turn toward Christ today; let His life become your life, and find rest in His eternal embrace.
