A sharp North African writer, the first major Christian author in Latin, known for vivid defenses of the faith and of the resurrection of the body.

    Habakkuk represents the faithfulness of God in providing for His servants. Even when Daniel was in the lions' den, God directed a prophet to carry his simple meal of bread and pottage across a great distance to sustain his life during the ordeal.
