1 Maccabees 3:57
“It is rightly said that the army of Judah set up camp to the south of Emmaus, because the soldiers of Christ, when they prepare to do battle against their enemies, choose to inspire themselves more with the warmth of faith than to grow numb with the cold of unbelief.”
57So the camp removed, and pitched upon the south side of Emmaus.
